Jon grew up in North West London spending most of his free time at Kenton Maccabi Jewish Youth Club where he volunteered as a youth worker within his local community. After a very short career as a Chef, Jon decided he wanted to become a youth worker. Jon took a GAP year abroad spending half his year studying in the Institute for Youth Leaders Abroad and the other half volunteering with young people in a’Development Town’. Jon Subsequently qualified with a Degree in Youth and Community Work from Liverpool John Moores University.
After working both the Voluntary and Statutory Sector young people’s workforce, Jon became a freelance trainer and Curriculum Development Manager whilst gaining a Post Graduate Certificate in Youth and Community Work. In 2011 Jon moved to Tel Aviv, Israel where he works as a Gap Year program coordinator for a Non-Profit youth organisation.
